• This facsimile edition brings together pages from the collections of The Fogg Art Museum of Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, and the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam.
• Fra Angelico or the blessed Angelico as he is also known, is a master of the Italian school and widely considered one of the most spiritual and sensitive of artists. In his miniatures, he made use of a uniquely personal style associated with the transition from the late Gothic period to the Renaissance: abstract, radiant and striking while at the same time possessed of a great inner moderation.
